america seeps into cracks of sidewalks ā¦
ā¦seepsā¦
red graffiti like
petals of voices
ā¦unheardā¦
ā¦seeps protests
burning white hot as
hellās collection
billsā¦
and red as pounds
of flesh stolen
from blue clad officers attacked
by moonlight ā¦
ā¦.we bleed
by candle
lightā¦
flicker⦠waneā¦and
prayā¦for fishes and loaves
and forgiveness and love to
drip like beads of
waxā¦pray
for
bandages
white
as
moonlightā¦
through
tear stained
glass windows ..
we
light candles ⦠cry for
grace as
green
as
trees ā¦forgiveness
as strong as
flowers

Beautiful!!!!

Love the interweave of red, white & blue to reinforce that it is the USA you are talking about. I may be wrong, but it seems like it may be expressing the struggle our culture is having here expressed as reactions against hate crimes and police shootings of minorities, and the like.

Yes that’s where I was headed … also … the yearning I think we all have for peace …
