past store sells “good old fashioned revivals”
“spirituality” soars as gasses of over ripe manna are
handed out like they are
Communion wafers
Jesus turns water into wine
Herod sells the Baptist’s head for a
“kiss and tell ”
time
and past stores debate
about how to decorate for the
church atten-
Dance
where really pressing questions will
be answered like
should women wear jeans or not?
and Bible Trivia is
played…
Jesus turned water into wine…
But what really matters is where that verse is found?
you know ….He really
does love us
not because of what we do for Him… but
in spite of it 🙂
Hugs:)
In spite of it 🙂

Religions, they say, are like rivers leading to the same salty sea of spirituality. I am not totally convinced about that, but I wish everyone on their way ‘happy navigating’ 🙂

Religions and boundary markers.. Stepping stones all guide to desired ends… If… A persons desired end is counterproductive to what’s good for others… And his religion promotes that..Then it is not a worthy path.. Although a path he or she has every right to choose…Although the hope would be that the happiness u wish them might help them to find gardens of love for others..that might not be the case.. The right they have to choose…yes… and I understand that the political correctness of your response is valuable to u… a type of boundaries that u follow for the site u see as good… For me… Faith.. Hope … Love … It’s where I’m headed…:)… Flowers and weeds… Yeses and nos…found in all breaths.. It’s how we get to where we want to go:)… Glad you’re enjoying the journey ..

Thought provoking. Thank you, Kae. “Trivial pursuits” and discussions on denim seem very trivial when looking at what the church is supposed to offer – freedom, wholeness, light, and peace – from One who bled all to offer it.
