What a great idea M. Jean Pike has! To forgo eating sweets this January, she has suggested that one might do sweet themed puzzles , such as doughnuts, to alleviate cravings lol.

In my family, Stephanie has always been the one into puzzles as I tend to be somewhat ADHD ( possibly mixed with Asperger) and rejoice in movement . A couple years back she suggested my trying out 3D mechanical puzzle kits … which move!

Upon M. Jean Pikes request I am posting a couple which I want to do, with a few that I have already completed.

      • Ahhh.. that one.. lol Ferris wheels tend to take me a long time.. putting the two finished wheel parts together has been very challenging, due to this , that one took me a couple weeks..
Like you I really liked the colors on that kit… was a little hesitant to buy as the reviews were hit and miss.. ended up disassembling the motor because it was so finicky .. but kept the Ferris wheel itself because I couldn’t get past how much I liked the way it looked.. this kit has many tiny Lego type pieces
parced in somewhat confusing small bags…although I wouldnt personally go with this company again… I do love the finished product:)
I have found that I tend to enjoy the 3D mechanical wood puzzles put out by ROKR the best so far.. but those are also more challenging than necessary as the English language instructions are poor.. nonetheless.. I’m hooked:)

      • They are all very impressive. What a neat collection! As I get older I don’t have the dexterity in my hands anymore to work with small pieces but I bet that is a super fun hobby.
