After spending a lifetime of recovering from abuse… after being terrified to begin posting my poems on a blog… after an extremely abusive marriage … after suffering from long term Covid…after staring at the huge hole in our ceiling, the rusted out bathtub, the broken washer….and begging the Lord to help me accept my broken status which tempts me to believe that there is no place for me on earth, that my best hope is to hide away, never speak, that I am nothing..
I see my my name in an IPG catalog. Surreal. Amazing.
