One of our vegetative friends welcoming spring

Wild peach

“It would be lovely to sleep in a wild cherry-tree all white with bloom in the moonshine.”

    • This guest is one of Stephanie’s darlings. She grew out of the base of a dead almond tree that we had to cut down. While I was all for removing her new arrival as well, Stephanie advocated for her, watered her lovingly and exclaimed over her in triumph when she blossomed and bore fruit:)
