Stephanie’s first word was book… when she was about 18 months her favorite activities was to turn the pages of a book.. she loves paper… journals, planners , stationary… etc.. are you like this too?
My mothers father was a teacher, my mother was a teacher, I was a teacher, and all my girls have at some point worked in education… lol.. my mother was a reading specialist and a voracious reader.. I like to read.. but not like my mother or Stephanie…
Oh how neat, we have more in common than I thought. My grandmother also taught in a one-room schoolhouse and Marge (my sister and co admin on the other blog) taught kindergarten for years until she became a reading specialist, now retired. I worked for 16 years in special ed as a teaching assistant and then another five as a tutor in a lovely Catholic school. But everyone in my family has always read 🙂
The globe trotter! 🙂

Yayyy! And hey, I find the bestest books in thrift stores. My big dream is to one day come across one of my books at a garage sale, lol. 🙂

There is a Salvation Army store near here with a book section as big as a book store! It’s a whole day to go through them.
