After my publisher Dede Cummings at Green Writer’s Press offered me a traditional offer of publication, she asked if I had any preferences/ ideas for the cover. While in prayer what came to mind was Fresno’s cultural street art, so that was the initial inspiration for the cover that my publisher designed. She did a great job:)
Signing a traditional contract means that i haven’t had to depend on my own cover design skills or invest my own money for the book to be published.
My daughter/ agent wrote my bio and the synapsis for the back cover and the poet laureates very generously contributed to the blurb ( recommendations) which will also on the back. ( I think they will.. lol.. it’s ultimately up to what my publisher thinks best) Lee Herrick, California’s current poet laureate also generously agreed to give one, so that should be forthcoming soon.
This has been such an amazing miraculous journey the Lord has us on:)
That said, there have been a lot of valleys in our personal lives ( much like the struggles you posted about. ) But God has got us.. and has a plan.. regardless.. 🙂
