will not be found in how healthy I am, how much money I make, how Christian my children seem to be, how involved I am with church or how many souls I save ( only Jesus can save souls anyway lol)
But rather,
To the extent of HIS SUFFERING when HE bought me back! Oh the number of adoptions that occurred on HIS CROSS!!
So who exactly is authoring these self doubts?
Towards the beginning of Jesus’s ministry
“The tempter approached and said to him, “IF you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread.” (Mathew 4:3)
And Satan again makes his appearance during Jesus’s last moments on earth through those who taunted.
40 … saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself!Come down from the cross, IF you are the Son of God!” ( Mathew 27:40)
And often makes his appearance in a variety of places not excluding, the church, or the innocent gathering of His ( sometimes deceived) own.
After listening to numerous sermons which subtly hint that one must constantly prove that they are a Christian by succeeding in human derived mandates, and reading countless commentaries against Christians made by those who attribute many of the flaws within society to Christianity, I have come to my own unapologetic response.
I never claimed that I could walk on water,
but
I refuse to let your words make me too afraid..
to get out of the boat
when the Wave Walker says, “ Come.”
Beautiful!

Amen … Our worth isn’t measured by what we achieve but by what He already finished on the cross. The enemy loves to whisper if, but God already said you are Mine. I won’t let doubt keep me from stepping out when Jesus says, Come.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
