Wow… walking on water seeing miracles…

Stephanie just glanced at the Fresno Library System and told me that Kadupul Flower has been ordered by 8 branches … a hold has already been placed … this is surreal… Kadupul Flower hasn’t even launched yet..

So grateful to the Fresno County Library System for all their support…and to my amazing literary representative daughter for reaching out to them…

In awe of what God is doing..

My name is Kimberly Vargas Agnese, though I've previously written as Kae Bucher. I was born in the Florida Keys, but grew up in the Bay Area before migrating south to the San Joaquin Valley. As I ride barefoot around Fresno, I consider the paths I've chosen and the crossroads where our country seems to have perched itself. Thanks to my Romani ancestry, many people groups reside within me and my poetry tends to reflect this. I love welcoming the sunrise with my Native American flute. I've been rumored to juggle while teaching students how to write. And if you can't find me, I'm probably hanging out with Jesus listening to parables.

    • Thank you Iona.. yes… and such a welcome reprieve after some of the events of late.. a reminder.. a confirmation.. that it will all be ok.. will all be good.. that the weeds which we sometime have to press through.. are that.. only weeds.. while He.. He is God:)
      Thank you to you and your dear mother for standing with us in encouragement and prayer. You two are awesome… and yet another of our happy conversations over here. It is such a balm of comfort to be told that others are standing with you when the enemy seems to surround.. to be reminded that God will prevail.. and to rejoice as He proves this to be true. ..

        I’ve read this over a few times, thank you so much! Amen and amen ❤ Indeed, we nee only turn our eyes to Jesus and all the GOOD that is surrounding us, to be reminded of the strength we have in Him. Like He did for Elijah's servant in 2nd Kings, I pray God would continue to open our eyes to the innumerable hosts on our side!!
        Looking forward to see what God has in store 🙂

  2. I was surprised to see it classified as nonfiction due to the fact that it is poetry and as such fictional voices are utilized to shed light on issues which I believe are important to examine within society.
    But Stephanie assured me that poetry is often put in the literature section of the library .. and that the literature section is classified as non fiction in the Dewey Decimal System.
    So great to live with a librarian in the know 🙂

  3. That’s incredible, Kimberly… Congratulations … God is truly opening doors for you, and it’s beautiful to see your hard work and faith being rewarded.

    I really need to do something like this with my own books too, so I can stop feeling discouraged and get back to writing.
